Yep, that’s right- then comes the baby in the baby carriage.

For those who don’t know or maybe you forgot, I am expecting. It is hard to believe that Little Man Craven will be arriving so soon, but I am just 2 short weeks away from my due date.  Preparations for such a huge change have left me scarce time for the blog, but I did want to leave you all with an update before the big day.

The past few months have been filled with work. I’ve been getting orders out, completed a number of different shoots, and also worked on prepping for the upcoming fall season. I’m currently on maternity leave so if you have stopped by for information or bookings, please go ahead and email me, but know I may not respond immediately. I’ll be returning in Mid to late September  for those who are interested in Fall sessions. I also have some newborn goodness ready to go in the fall . Anyone else want to join on the bandwagon and book Baby’s First Year?

Be sure to check in over the next few months as I’ll be posting photos of our little one. Thanks for all of your love and support!

Heather

As I sit here to post, I can’t help but wonder, “Where has half the summer gone?”  I’m a summer girl through and through, but the crazy heat we’ve had in the PA area makes me wish winter was around the corner. Did I really just say that?

Anyway, back in June I had the privilege of photographing Timmy and his sweet parents. Tim and Clare attend the same church that I do, and have been such a blessing to Joel and me as we prepare to become parents in the next 2-3 weeks (insert scream here). They have been above and beyond generous from cribs to car seats and encouragement. I was so excited when they accepted a photo session in thanks for all that they have done. Really this doesn’t even come close to repaying them.

It just so happens, that Timmy, their lovable son, had just turned three in May. We headed over to Curtis Park in Wyncote to grab some photos of Timmy and company one evening. I did my best at 33 weeks pregnant to capture a glimpse of Timmy’s joy and welcoming personality. He is so full of life and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for this little one as he continues to grow. Happy Third Birthday Timmy- a few months late! I hope this leaves you with a smile.

I so wish I knew what his little mind was thinking.

A boy and his dog…

Love the side profile- so focused.

Possibly one of my favorites.

Let me just start off by saying that as soon as I met up with Jackie and Dane last week, I knew the session was going to be a breeze. And my excitement was only confirmed when I had trouble limiting my favorites for the blog post.  Start getting pumped now….

Jackie contacted me in the beginning of the year about taking photos for her and Dane’s one year anniversary. What a fun way to document their love and commitment over the past year- plus it’s a lot cheaper than going away somewhere (wink, wink to anyone who has an upcoming anniversary- 1 yr., 5 yrs., 15 yrs., 30 yrs). Of course I was overjoyed to be able to do this, especially since Jackie and I have known  each other since high school lost touch over the years. Kind of scary that it has been years, but it was fun to remember all of the volleyball bus rides we shared and lunchroom convos, among other things. With all of the rain the past few weeks, we decided to bump up the shoot by a day, and I was so glad we did. The light was perfect.

Jackie and Dane also did an awesome job of implementing special parts of their wedding day into their photos. You’ll notice the bright orange chairs they used as a guest book (genius idea Jackie), Jackie’s hair piece and blue heels, as well as the canvases used for as table markers. We were able to tie all these elements together for some awesome shots. Dane and Jackie, best wishes as you continue on over the years and grow in your love for one another. It was so evident between you. Thanks for being with my pregnant self.

Happy viewing friends- it’s a little longer because they were that good.

Introducing…James William. I just can’t get enough of this baby loving.  A few short weeks ago, I, along with little James’ family, were completely surprised by his swift and unexpected arrival.  My dear friend Amy and her husband Dave thought they still had a few more weeks before their bundle of joy arrived, but obviously God’s timing is not our own. Needless to say,  this sweet one was bound and determined to make his appearance long before April 22nd.

I had the privilege and joy of meeting James just days after he was born, and I stopped in the following week to grab some newborn shots of him and his mommy. James was far from asleep and posed quite a challenge as we raced to snap some shots without his pacifier, but adorable none the less. James, I can’t wait too see you grow and develop in the years to come and look forward to a few months from now when my little boy will join you.  Amy and David, so excited  to share this special time in our lives together.

DAYS OLD…

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Sweet little hands…
