One of my favorite things in life is little babes that I can snuggle and then give back to their parent.s This little man entered our family with lots of joy and smiles. He is already a world traveler just like his momma and daddy, and has been on three different continents in his short little life so far. Looking forward to many more days of adventure.
Val is a sweet friend of mine from our local MOPs Int. group. She is so full of love for her family and it shines out of her. I love her desire to cherish each moment with her little ones and at the same time keep it real. Motherhood is hard, but so worth it and Val is a true testament to that. It is so encouraging to watch Val and Rich work as a team together to raise their family well. And there is just something about the connection between a momma and her kids.
Josh and Amelia recently welcomed their newest bundle of joy, Selah, this past fall. I know both Josh and Amelia from college and photographed their wedding almost five years ago now. It is always exciting reconnecting with old friends and seeing how families grow over the years. Amelia is so natural at being a momma and it is obvious how much they adore both kids. Sweet Selah is so very loved by everyone, including her big brother. I loved watching Caleb interact with his new sister and look forward to seeing their relationship develop in the coming months. You’ll be seeing a lot of them over the next year as this session was just one of Selah’s First Year Sessions. Enjoy the little sweetheart and her family.
Pigtails and pearls and this sweet little girl. I had the privilege and joy of meeting up with sweet Bella girl and her padres a couple weeks ago just in time for her six month portraits. Isabella actually just turned 7 months, but we got a chance to sneak them in before she was no longer six months old. And this girls is so happy. I have to start out by saying that this session actually made me feel kind of old because I have known Bella’s momma for a really long time…back when she was wearing pigtails. Sarah, I’m sorry, but I tried to pull out an old school photo just for memory’s sake and then realized it is so old school it needed to be scanned. Maybe next time. Anyway, You are even more beautiful as a wife and momma now and it was so fun getting to watch you with your precious girl. Jayson and Sarah, your love for each other and your daughter is so evident. I know she has you wrapped around her little finger. Can’t wait to see her grow over the years to come.
