If you want to laugh and having a good time then you need to meet this family. They are full of joy, with a little bit of sass thrown in, and a whole lot of love. When I first got to Curtis Aprboretum for this portrait session I was a little upset to see a good chunk of their property under construction, heavy equipment and all. With a few other locations ideas thrown into the mix we decided to stay put and make it work. So glad we did and so thankful I have the privilege of knowing this family.

I love seniors. I think some of it comes from the fact that I just loved my time in high school and photographing them brings back lots of fun memories. The biggest joy though, is seeing them step out towards a new beginning. It can be scary and exciting all at once. A chance to start fresh or pursue your dreams. It signals that time of growth where you move from a kid to a true adult, headed out on your own to what life has in store. This particular session was so sweet because I’ve watched Ali grow up in front of my camera for years. She’s gone from a little girl to a beautiful young woman ready to take the dance world by storm. She’s mature and beautiful and I can’t wait to see what awaits her.

Can’t get enough of this creamy, dreamy, and warm fall session. Two of the cutest kiddos along with their parents. It was such a joy for me to watch the little ones explore and interact with each other. You can already see how much they adore one another. This is one of my favorites to date!

The I. Family may be my most photographed family ever. There is nothing like watching these sweet peas with their momma and dad. Thanks for giving me an exercise and lots of smiles to go home with. It may have been a bit chilly and windy, but definitely filled with lots of love to keep us all warm

We’ve got the Browns…

And the baby blues…

This little man is the youngest in our framily (friends, but more like family) and he is loved by so many already. We can’t wait to see all that life has ahead for you. I was able to capture image of both his sisters as newborns in the hospital. Unfortunately, due to my kids being sick we had to stay away at first.
